Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - Atrium Level I

Here at St. Andrew we nurture our youngest children through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.  Children ages 3 to Kindergarten engage the classroom that is set up to foster the use of all of their senses as they become ever more conscious of the gifts with which God blesses us.  For more information about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd click here.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - Atrium Level II

Here at St. Andrew we continue the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with Atrium Level II for students in the 1st - 3rd grades.  As students explore the hands-on classroom, they will continue to grow in faith as they learn about Jesus the True Vine.   For more information about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd click here

Spark House Connect - 4th, 5th, & 6th Grades

Connect takes our kids on a journey through the Old and New Testament Bible stories each week.  Engaged in each lesson, the kids are encouraged to make connections to each story as they grow in the foundations of our faith.

Confirmation (7th-8th Grade)

The confirmation age youth are encouraged to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through their study of God’s Word and its implications for daily life. Using Martin Luther’s Small Catechism as a starting point, they explore what it means to live and serve in response to God’s grace.

Senior High Youth

High School Students make use of Faith Lens a weekly Bible study for youth and young adults that connect world events with each week’s worship readings. For a link to this week's Faith Lens click here.

St. Andrew Playgroup

Parents and children birth to age 3 meet for fun and fellowship on a monthly basis.  This is an opportunity for families with very young children to connect with one another, and for their children to begin forming Christian friendships.

The Sacrament of Holy Baptism Instruction

Holy Baptism instruction is offered for Parents and Sponsors by our pastoral staff.  Parents are encouraged to talk with the pastor to arrange a time for instruction and to set the date for their child's Baptism.

First Communion Instruction

First Communion Classes are offered occasionally throughout the year for children and youth.  Parents are encouraged to talk with the pastor to set up class times or for help discerning if their child is ready to receive Holy Communion.

Vacation Bible School  (TBA)

VBS at St. Andrew is always a fun week of Bible stories, games, crafts and friendships as we discover and learn about God’s love for everyone. Each year the theme may vary, but one thing is for certain – everyone is welcome, and everyone has fun!
