Youth Ministry

St. Andrew has many opportunities for the youth to be involved in the total life and ministry of the church through Bible study and scripture, service activities, and fellowship, as we grow in faith together.

STAKK (St. Andrew Kingdom Kids) Our 5th and 6th grade youth meet the first Sunday of each month from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The focus of this group is to build relationships through a variety of fellowship, fun and service activities.

SLY (St. Andrew Lutheran Youth) Designed for 7th through 12th grade youth. SLY usually meets the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of each month from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Our time together can include a mix of music, Bible study, service projects, games, and fellowship. We do plan special events like lock-ins, a Super Bowl party, and a Valentine dinner and show. Youth will have the opportunity to attend retreats, camps and mission trips throughout the year.

Nights Alive Middle School Event (TBA for 2020) -  Open to rising 6th, 7th, & 8th grade middle schoolers.  We will stay up late and explore the wonders of the night sky, night time swims, and great games.  As we learn about Bible stories that happen at night and what it means to encounter God in dark times.

AFFIRM is a synod-wide youth event held at The University of West Alabama in Livingston, AL for youth who have completed 6th - 12th grades.
